Eyelashes Lift & Tint
Eyelashes are one of the things that most women want to enhance. That is why mascara is one of the best-selling types of makeup worldwide. All women like the dark lashes they get from mascara. Even women who don’t wear makeup will put on a little of it for a night out. Eyelash tints replicate the look of mascara without the upkeep or risk of it running from rain, sweat, or tears. You can take the next step and get a lift to match. Eyelash lifts mimic curled eyelashes. Combined, these procedures give you perfect eyelashes with no daily effort.
Process An eyelash lift and tint is like perming and dyeing your hair. During the procedure, a chemical is applied that will curl your lashes upwards. Think of it as an eyelash curler replacement. Some people prefer dramatically-spaced lashes, and some prefer a more subtle lift. You can work with your technician to personalize your lash look that’s perfect for you. The tinting process mimics mascara and darkens your lashes. Tinted eyelashes will not require any mascara. Your morning routine will be get-up-and-go for as long as it lasts. The whole process takes about an hour and will last you for six to eight weeks. Extensions Eyelash extensions were a popular trend for a while, but they’re being replaced with lift and tint. I-Brauhaus-Seattle prefers lift and tint services for several reasons. Extensions are not real. Attaching something synthetic to your delicate eyelid skin can cause irritation. Our eyelash lift and tint uses your real lashes and minimizes the risk of irritation and complications. Also, extensions are often overly long and fake-looking. There’s nothing wrong with that look, but we prefer to keep eyelashes more natural-looking. This keeps your look more customizable. You can keep it light for the daytime or use temporary extensions for special nights out. Healing As we said before, you should think of this procedure as a perming and dyeing your hair. There will be some aftercare, but it’s quite easy and there are generally no adverse effects. You should avoid eye makeup the day of your procedure, but you can resume your normal routine the next day. After that, you can continue with your normal look, including any makeup you like. You should avoid oil-based products, though. These products can cause your eyelash tint to fade faster than normal. They won’t completely remove the tint, but your results won’t look as nice or last as long as they would with non-oil-based products. Future What can you expect after your eyelash lift and tint session? Gorgeous and natural lashes, of course. Other than that, there’s not much for you to think about. We recommend that you try to keep your eyes dry for a day after your procedure. It’s probably best not to shower that day. If you can’t skip a day, shower carefully to avoid water splashing your face. The second day? You can resume your normal make up and washing routines without worry. Results usually last around six to eight weeks. After that you will need to come back for another treatment. |
