Ombre/Powder
The growing popularity of microblading has resulted in some new styles. Ombre, or powder, brows is one of these new styles. A powder brow tattoo is a less natural look than traditional 3D microblading. Women looking for thick, dark eyebrows are a good candidate for this procedure. Your eyebrows will be darker toward the tail and lighter toward the head. This will help them fade well in the future; your eyebrows stay beautiful until the very end. Not everyone can have microblading done but this procedure can be done by anyone, making it a good option for those who want better eyebrows but can’t do microblading.
Procedure Process When you come to our brow studio for your ombre/powder brow appointment, you should come with a clean face. You can wear lipstick or mascara, but nothing on or near your brows. Avoid moisturizers and foundation as well. The skin around your eyebrows should be free from all products. Your appointment will take about three hours. You should expect some discomfort, but it won’t cause major pain. Regardless, try not to make any plans for the day. You may experience swelling or redness after your appointment. You’ll be able to show off your powder shading tattoo results to everyone later. The Microblading Difference Most people know about traditional microblading. This procedure is different. It does not give you individual hair strokes. Instead, it creates a base layer of color. This is a great option for people who already have thick brows and simply want them to be darker and more uniform. It is also good for those who prefer the look of a made-up face and want their eyebrows to look “done.” It can be customized to fill in thin spots in your eyebrows, add a base color to light eyebrows, or to give you a dramatically made-up look. Talk to your technician about which look is right for you. Healing The healing process for powder brow tattoos is minimal. You’ll have your full results after about a month. Between day one and day 30, your eyebrows will go through many changes. Eyebrows may get darker or lighter throughout the process. This is normal. You’ll have your final color by the end of the month. To speed things along and keep them looking the way you want, you should avoid water and cosmetics (around your eyebrows) for at least 10 days. Keep your face as dry as you can. And keep your fingers away from your eyebrows as much as possible. The Future of Your Brows You’ve had your procedure, you’ve healed, you’ve gone in for your follow-up appointment. Now what? Now you enjoy your beautiful new eyebrows. Generally, ombre brows will last for three years. Of course, this doesn’t mean that your eyebrows will look the same on day one and day 700. As time goes by, you will experience some fading. Your eyebrows will have been designed to fade out in such a way that you still look great after fading occurs. You can decide if you want to come in for another appointment or if you want to let your look fade away for good. |
